Hellouuuuuu, bin wieder daaaahaaaaa 🙂
Hellooooo, I´m baaaahaaaaaack 🙂
I´m sorry I don´t have any recipes for you, as I alas had no time for cooking, but instead I have some nice little pics from an old celtic village close to the airport Hahn in Germany. As the Wikipedia entry is just in German, here a short description:
The “Altburg” (old castle) is a celtic fort which was excavated 1971 to 1974. The site gave a perfectly preserved picture of how the fort once was built. Ditches and over 3000 holes from posts have been found in perfect condition in the soft slate rock, even after 2000 years! The celtic tribe of the Treverer has been living here at around the 2nd and 1st century b.c.. Since 1988 this place is an open-air museum.
Once in a year a folk and celtic festival takes place on which national and international bands can be seen as well as a medieval market and a medieval camp.
The Altburg is set in Bundenbach, Hunsrück (close to airport Hahn). The village lies on an approx. 1 hectare huge plateau above the Hahnenbachtal. At the opposite hill there are the remains of the Schmidtburg (Schmidt castle). Very close to the site there is an old slate mine, called Herrenberg, which can be visited and explored.
